Getting Relationships Right

A Workshop for Leaders Who Want to Create Schools and Programs Where All Young People Experience Developmental Relationships

Participants will leave ready to be more intentional and inclusive in building developmental relationships with and among young people.

Available on the following dates:

Registration Deadline: August 2 (early bird July 12)

Essentials of Asset Building for Trainers & Facilitators

AUGUST 21-22, 2019
Hartford, CT

Join us for the energizing two-day Essentials of Asset Building for Trainers and Facilitators workshop. This training will prepare you to deliver two core Search Institute designed workshops to your own community: Everyone’s an Asset Builder and Sharing the Asset Message. Developmental Assets® are the experiences, opportunities, skills, and qualities that help young people make responsible and healthy choices. Research has consistently demonstrated that the more Developmental Assets® young people have in their lives, the better their chances of succeeding in school and becoming a happy, healthy, and contributing member of their communities and society.

Registration Deadline: August 12 (early bird July 19)

Developmental Relationships & Sparks

AUGUST 23, 2019
Hartford, CT

This workshop combines the Developmental Relationship Framework with Search Institute’s research on Sparks – a special quality, skill, or interest that a young person is passionate about and that unleashes their energy and joy. Helping youth explore their sparks can provide a gateway to building the kind of meaningful connections consistent with a developmental relationship approach to helping youth thrive. Participants will be introduced to the research-based framework and practical tools for maximizing those relationships in the lives of youth.

Registration Deadline: August 12 (early bird July 19)
