Chief Operating Officer
In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Cheryl ensures that Search Institute achieves its mission through performance excellence, efficient sustainable processes, and sound financial practices. Cheryl oversees the areas of human resources, information technology, facilities management, administration, communications and product sales and fulfillment. Cheryl also provides leadership on key strategic projects.
Cheryl has more than 20 years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma business consultant, operations manager, corporate auditor, project manager, and process engineer.
Her diverse experience covers the private, public, and nonprofit sectors and includes work with General Electric, Target Corporation, Amoco Corporation, Medtronic, Abbott Labs, City of Minneapolis, Anoka County-Minnesota, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities United Way, Harvest Network of Schools, Sanneh Foundation, and the African American Leadership Forum.
