Jim Conway will be delivering this workshop to help participants identify how assets can be applied in youth-serving program planning and assessments, how the assets reflect national standards for out-of-school programs, and how to use the framework to build quality support for the youth they serve.
Key content:
- Become familiar with the Developmental Assets® framework
- Identify how assets can be used as a lens for higher quality program planning and assessment
- Review how Developmental Assets reflect current national standards for out-of-school programs
- Examine the participant’s own program and identify ways it currently builds assets, and areas where assets might be more intentionally infused
- Determine priorities for infusing assets more fully into the programs
- Commit to a personal asset-building action to implement into their program.
