Clay Roberts will be delivering a 2 day workshop to community members. The objectives of the two days are as follows:
Day 1 The Developmental Assets®
- Awareness of the 40 Developmental Assets® framework
- Assessment of current assets in youth
- Latest research linking assets to a youth’s success
- Doing the work – activities & strategies that build assets
Day 2 Sharing the Asset Message
- The Developmental Assets framework and how it relates to other positive youth development efforts
- Key asset-building messages in presentation to any audience
- Engaging presentation strategies to meet unique audience needs
- Relevant presentation materials, tools, and methods for a successful presentation
- Planning practice for a mini-presentation to one of your audiences
