Training of Trainers: Building Developmental Assets in School Communities

This Training of Trainers event prepares participants to effectively deliver the popular workshop, Building Developmental Assets in School Communities.
With guidance from a master trainer, you’ll learn effective presentation techniques, alternative strategies for delivery, and methods for addressing participant questions. A detailed training curriculum helps you spread the message further, faster, and easier using your own capacity to sustain the momentum within your school system.

  • Learn how to organize and facilitate a one-day asset-building workshop for your staff.
  • Learn how to accurately and effectively field questions from participants.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of how to create developmentally rich school communities.
  • Receive reference and recommended resources that will help participants implement Developmental Asset® strategies in the school community.
  • Verify 14 hours of training with a Certificate of Participation.

Educators who have credibility with and connect to their colleagues, are youth/child centered, are innovative, possess strong training skills, and have the commitment, energy, and confidence to serve in a training role within a school system.
