Developmental Assets Profile
Released in 2004, the
Developmental Assets Profile (DAP) provides an assessment
of the eight Developmental Asset categories for youth ages 11-18. Based on
Search Institute's Developmental Asset framework, it provides a way to document, quantify, and portray adolescents' reports of the types of assets working in their lives.
The DAP is designed to yield quantitative scores on the
eight asset categories as well as five context areas: personal, social, family,
school, and community assets — to give administrators a valuable look into
the positive development of an individual young person or small group of
youth.
The DAP is ideal for:
- Individual assessments by qualified clinicians, school counselors,
mental health practitioners, and social workers; and
- Now available! Group assessments for youth programs in schools,
juvenile justice, mental health, and family services settings.
