Creating a Great Place to Learn

Take a look at your school’s learning and work climate…

Research tells us that a positive school learning and work climate is critical for student academic achievement and staff effectiveness. The Creating a Great Place to Learn surveys, one for students and one for staff, measure student perceptions of their school’s work climate. The survey promotes the use of an asset-based approach by focusing on school climate within three categories: Relationships, Organizational Attributes, and Personal Development. Secondary schools can use survey information to foster a positive learning environment for staff and students by helping focus energy and financial resources to strengthen the effects of your learning and work climates. Staff and student surveys may be purchased separately.
