Welcome to our new feature, Assetizr. The goal of this space is to present data from our own surveys and research in new formats and to look at it in ways that are different than our print resources. We aim to be informal, but still informational. If you have any ideas of what you’d like to see or something you would like more information on, please feel free to email us at justinr@search-institute.org
We talk a lot about encouraging Sparks amongst our youth, but did you know that identifying your own Spark will help your work with youth to realize and foster their own Sparks? (Benson 2008)
We surveyed parents, guardians, and other adults who care about young people and asked them: “How would you describe your own Spark?” The word cloud below presents their responses, with the most frequently used descriptors appearing in font sizes proportional to their frequency.
