National Night Out is Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011. Find your local National Night Out Event >
Since its inception 28 years ago, National Night Out (NNO) has become so much more than just a “block party” about safety awareness. It’s still firmly grounded in heightening crime and drug prevention awareness, but it also clearly overlaps with asset-building activities in its goals of strengthening neighborhood spirit while building support and community partnerships with police and anti-crime programs. In the spirit of boosting Developmental Assets this National Night Out, Search Institute Trainer, Deborah Fisher, is sharing her tips for making your local NNO event an asset-rich one.Get Deborah Fisher’s tips for successful asset-building this National Night Out >
