As director of Search Institute’s Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group, Lynette Ward uses principles of social entrepreneurship to generate significant revenue to advance Search Institute’s mission. She works to identify key outlets and competitive strategies, particularly in the K-12 education and youth development markets, and helps to position Search Institute as a leader in discovering what kids need to succeed.
Since Ward joined the Search Institute team in 1997, she has worked in multiple positions across the organization in research, accounting, training, and marketing. Prior to joining the Search Institute team, Ward worked as business manager for the International Wolf Center, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and Sunny Hallow Montessori School, St. Paul, Minnesota. She has served on the board of directors as secretary and president of Avenues for Homeless Youth, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Ward holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
