Dear Survey Girl,

Dear Survey Girl,

We just received our Attitudes and Behaviors results from the survey we administered last fall and we’re wondering if we can publish them in our local newspaper.

Sincerely,

Dear MEDIA,

You absolutely can publish your survey results in any media format! In fact, we encourage you to share the results with your community, whether it be having a community meeting, publishing key figures in your local newspaper, having the report available to peruse at the school, or producing your own newsletter. Our website has some examples of ways other communities have disseminated their survey results. Our basic guidelines are as follows (this is also printed in your report): you may photocopy or distribute the report in its entirety for informational and educational purposes only; figures and tables from your report may be reproduced or adapted to other formats, as long as Search Institute is acknowledge as the source of the information and the Developmental Assets; and report text and appendices may not be reproduced or adapted in any format.
