SWIFT acts as a catalyst to maximize local and other available resources to promote the Developmental Asset concept and ensure its propagation and sustainability. We have recently created a new civic organization that meets for breakfast monthly called “Asset Builders”. It includes representatives from Boys & Girls Clubs, Parents As Teachers, Libraries, City Government, Law Enforcement, Civic Organizations, Businesses, Media, and Churches. The group tackles the unique needs to make headway in those sectors least involved at the time.
