St. Lucia

In 2006, with only a yearning for a better lot for St. Lucian youth and an acknowledgment of the constraints of our government jobs to achieve this, we created RISE (St. Lucia) Inc. a non-governmental, not-for-profit group dedicated to the healthy development of youth, seeking to link up and to support all other groups or people doing the same thing. Our organization is primarily one of advocacy and resource mobilization and seeks to create synergy between existing efforts, to identify gaps and propose solutions.

RISE is about RELATIONSHIPS …with, for and about youth. Humans are “wired to connect”-that’s what RISE is all about…connecting! Networking! And having connected – with youth, with youth-supporting adults and their worlds – we aim, with YOUTH leading, to forge new paths.
