HCTC is an initiative under the direction of the Genesee Valley Health Partnership, a nonprofit rural health network of more than 40 different organizations that are either based in Livingston County or provide services to Livingston County residents. The initiative is a 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the Livingston County community through collaboration, education, and prevention. HCTC is GVHP’s Positive Youth Development initiative. There are two main goals: first, to give communities tools to assess the needs and resources of its youth and families; second, to successfully plan and implement activities and programs that promote positive qualities, norms, and beliefs in all local youth through collaboration with local agencies, organizations, schools, congregations, and youth.
