I will be presenting at the Educating World Citizens conference in Washington, DC, October 8-9, 2009, along with Linda Lantieri, Lee Schulman, Linda Darling-Hammond and Kathleen McCartney. Organized by the Mind and Life Institute, this conference will bring together an assembly of prominent educators and researchers to join His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, in discussions on reforming education to include the cultivation of attention, emotional balance, kindness and compassion.
