As CSD researchers began to design focus group protocols and to design an inventory of adolescent spiritual development, the CSD library staff conducted extensive literature searches for existing measures of spirituality and religiosity that might be applied or adapted for use with adolescent populations.
We searched for Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, and Jewish measures, as well as measures that have been used across cultures, with varying degrees of success. We hope that the results of our searching will be useful for other researchers working in this fascinating, emerging field.

While the list is not exhaustive, we have included most of the instruments that we found helpful in thinking about constructs relating to adolescent spiritual development, and we will be updating this list from time to time.
