Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I place an order?
A. Customers in the Continental United States can choose from the following options:
- Order online: www.searchinstitutestore.org.
- Order by phone. Call the sales department at 877-240-7251, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CST), Monday through Friday.
- Order by fax 24 hours a day: 612-692-5553.
- Order by mail or in person: Search Institute, 615 First Avenue N.E., Suite 125, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
Q. My organization/school only uses purchase orders. Do you accept them?
A. Please fax your purchase order to 612-692-5553. We will gladly accept them. Please note that we require a $50 minimum on all purchase orders.
Q. What are the shipping and handling charges?
A. We charge $5 for the first item, $1 for each additional item. For example, if you order 10 copies of Great Group Games and two packs of our 150 Ways to Show Kids You Care poster, the shipping and handling charge will be $17.
Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. If you are in the Continental United States, you can expect to receive your order in 7–10 business days. The sales department is able to accept your rush order between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (CST), Monday through Friday.
Q. Help! I need my order rushed. What are my options?
A. We offer overnight shipping at an additional $25 and two-day shipping at an additional $10. Please call 877-240-7251 to place your rush order. You may also include your request on a purchase order. Rush orders are accepted through 2 p.m.(CST).
Q. Do you offer discounts?
A. Yes. Please take a look at our discount schedule below:
Ordering 25–49 items—save 5%
50–99 items—save 10%
100–199 items—save 15%
200–349 items—save 20%
350+ items—save 25%
Canadian customers confirm any discounts by calling 800-265-2680.
Q. Is there any free material that you can offer?
A. Yes. On our Web site, www.search-institute.org, click on Downloads and you will find plenty of complimentary resources. We also have special offers on our products periodically, so check out our Web store at www.searchinstitutestore.org frequently.
Q. I’m from Canada. How do I place an order?

Q. I live in Australia. How do I order?
A. Please contact Willow Connection at info@willowconnection.com.au, and they will be happy to put you in touch with a bookstore.
Q. We are calling from a bookstore. Do you have a distributor?

Q. I don’t know which resources best suit my needs. Can you help me choose?
A. Yes. Please call our client services department to speak with a resource consultant. We will be happy to give you any information or insight you may need. And, if we don’t have the answer, we will find it for you!

Q. How do I place an order for surveys?

Q. Our school is interested in Search Institute trainings. How do I get pricing and more information?

Q. I’m interested in reproducing Search Institute materials. How may I receive permission to do so?
