  • The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance: The Catalog provides a listing of all federal programs available to governmental bodies, organizations, individuals, and more.
  • Department of Education Annual Funding Forecast: The Department of Education provides a list of education-related grants as well as application and contact information.
  • The Federal Register: The official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and funding notices of federal agencies and organizations.
  • The Finance Project Federal Funding Guide Search: This searchable database of federal funding sources will help take the mystery out of the federal grants that are available and how you can access them.
  • Grants.gov: This gateway site, managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is a one-stop site for finding and applying for federal grants.
  • National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research: The OER contains a great deal of useful information, including grant application basics, an overview of the federal grant process, and a database of funding opportunities.
  • SAMHSA Grant Page: SAMHSA’s list of substance abuse- and mental health-related grants.

  • School Connectedness: Strategies for Increasing Protective Factors among Youth: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released this report enumerating the benefits of school connectedness, a measure that Developmental Assets increase.
