Perseverance Workshop Offers a ‘Common Language’ for Helping Kids Succeed

Every young person faces obstacles and challenges in school, in extracurricular activities—and in life.

Helping young people work through those challenges is the main goal of Search Institute’s popular workshop, The Perseverance Process: Strategies for Strengthening Academic Motivation and Persistence. Workshop participants leave with a new “common language” for helping kids understand how they can get up and try again when they experience failure or disappointment. Click on the video below to hear about one workshop participant's experience with this new common language in his school.
