Fall Professional Development Workshops in Minnesota

Attend a Workshop

Looking for professional development opportunities this fall? Join us this November for Search Institute’s most popular workshops—The Perseverance Process and Essentials of Asset Building.

These workshops bring together individuals and teams from multiple organizations in one location to learn from each other and an expert Search Institute facilitator.

Both workshops offer actionable strategies to put your learning into practice, ideas to build capacity within your school or organization, Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and a great chance to network with other youth development professionals.

The Perseverance Process

A growing body of research demonstrates that when schools, youth programs, and families act intentionally to influence motivation and persistence in young people, it is possible to significantly increase both qualities. To help bridge the gap between the worlds of research and practice, this workshop offers educators and program directors actionable strategies to help young people do their best in school and life.

Date: November 5, 2015, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Price: $285 (Includes workshop, the Perseverance Process Guidebook, continental breakfast, and lunch).

Facilitator: Kent Pekel, Ed.D., President and CEO

Location:
University of Minnesota Continuing Education Conference Center
1890 Buford Avenue, Room 156, St. Paul, MN 55108
